Korea/OECD workshop： Delivering Green Growth: Seizing New Opportunities for Industries

Green and Growth can and should go hand in hand. There is a growing conviction across countries that this need a greener growth model. To help identify future strategies for green growth, the Korean government and the OECD are co-organising a workshop which will help exchange information and experiences among OECD and non-member countries on strategies for green growth.

The workshop will address essential policy questions in moving towards green growth, including the role of innovation for green growth; the challenges and opportunities for industries such as the automobile sector, the IT sector and the steel industry; the implications for job creation; as well as the policy strategies that can best help foster green growth. Professionals and global industry leaders from all over the world will present their experiences and insights into future strategies for green growth.  Also, representatives from governments across the world will outline their strategies and discuss the prospects for multilateral co-operation to drive innovation and green growth.
